Being among people who are both frum and care about all that academia has to offer to our understanding of Judaism and Torah is an unparalleled experience. The fusion is truly incredible. I am forever indebted to all of my professors. Since my classes with Professor Kanarfogel, I have never looked at a Tosafot the same way, and he is always available to answer my questions by email, even when I鈥檓 thousands of miles away. My many classes with Professor Dauber opened my eyes to the place of Kabbalah in Jewish Intellectual history. And one of the highlights of my time was critiquing a paper at a Tikvah conference along with Dean Berger.
