Revel wishes a Mazel Tov to Steven Goldsmith (BRGS '07) on his publication of Imrah Tzrufah on Masechet Yoma. The work provides an analysis of the laws of Avodat Yom Hakippurim in the Beit Hamikdash and the details of the observance of the laws of Yom Kippur and may be a useful companion to those learning Yoma.
Steven completed an MA in Talmudic Studies at Revel where he studied under Dr. Elazar Hurvitz. He recalls " Dr. Hurvitz's devotion to and tireless efforts on behalf of the preservation and dissemination of the 'forgotten' sefarim of our mesorah."
